Triple-S Steel Holdings’ story begins in the 1930s when Russian immigrant Johnny Stein came to America with less than $5 in his pocket. Through hard work and perseverance, he opened his own small scrap-metal business – Houston-based Dixie Iron and Metal Co. – and laid the foundation for his son Bruce to build Triple-S Steel. Over the years, the entire Stein family, including the current CEO, Bruce’s son, Gary, has contributed to Triple-S’s development into a $2 billion multinational company and its expansion beyond steel into non-ferrous metals.

No matter how big Triple-S grows, the Steins continue to live by their core values of grit, determination, perseverance, and love of God, family, and country.
